My Minimalist Monthly Meal Plan

I wish I could give away the Fresh Vegetable book to everyone that leaves a comment because you all deserve to be in good health. For now it will have to be two… maybe four. Seriously, when I read some of your comments and how sick some of your family members are, it broke my heart. They need to get rid of the processed food and replace that with drinking fresh vegetable juice!

If you don’t own a juicer yet and are looking for something more affordable, I recommend the Hamilton Beach Juicer which is around $50. If you can afford a little more, I recommend the Breville Juicer. This is the one I currently use and the main difference is that the Breville extracts a little more juice for the amount of vegetables thrown into it.

To enter this giveaway, just leave a comment below my Monthly Meal Plan video. Nothing specific, just whatever you want and you will be automatically entered to win one of two, maybe four copies of Fresh Vegetable and Fruit Juices by Dr. Norman Walker! I will be announcing the winners in the comment section below the video on Christmas day. So be sure to check back!

Hopefully I explained the meal plan well and you all understand it because it truly is very simple. But then I forgot to explain Sundays. 😊

So in a nutshell, you’re buying the same groceries every week but using the ingredients in different ways. This helps to always make sure your grocery budget is easy to follow and also to make sure you’re eating healthy nutritious meals every day.

My printable meal plan is just an example. To adapt it to your meals, pick out the main foods you enjoy for each day of the week. Then change up the preparation of each main food. In my example meal plan, Sundays only have the main food listed and not the sides because we usually just have leftovers along with the meat.

If you do get bored with it and would really like a day that isn’t exactly planned, this is super simple to remedy. Just budget in an extra amount each week to buy whatever you feel like on that day. So let’s say every Sunday you budget in $20 and buy whatever you want. Just make sure to not go over your budgeted amount and you’re all set!

    Hi Darcy!
I found your blog via your YouTube channel and I love your content! It’s fun, funny, educational, and just good for the soul. Your family is absolutely precious. I have a 14 month old little girl and am determined to keep her on a healthy way of eating. She loves her veggies so far! My mom gifted a juicer to me for Christmas and I love it already! My husband has back and joint pain from years working in the HVAC industry and is excited to try juicing to help with the pain. We’re changing our diet and you are a big influence on that decision! Thank you for the work you put in to your channel and blog. It is a blessing to those of us who need your knowledge, not only health wise but your advice on raising children, being debt free, minimalism, and most importantly, putting faith in Jesus Christ first.
    Merry Christmas!

  • Alert! Sad story ahead. Don't read if your day has been fabulous so far and you don't want anything ruining it. 😄
So two days ago I cried into these stairs for soooo many reasons. If you've been following my stories, then you know the counter top installer cracked our IKEA no-longer-being-made kitchen sink. Because we had to run out and quickly buy a similar one, they didn't charge us for the install. Ya. What I didn't mention before is that even though these two came highly recommended, the install of the counters was poorly done. They left gouges in the wall, they didn't finish the trim and the trim they did finish was cut unevenly. Thankfully I knew how to fix everything but what a disaster. I should have just installed it on my own. Then this past Monday we had our carpet replaced. We paid extra so I wouldn't have to move the furniture. When they arrived, not only did they say that they don't move furniture, while it was being torn out (different than the counter top people), they tore off parts of the wall along the stairs. I only showed one photo in my stories but it was all along almost every step. Then he told me to expect lots of scuff marks on the wall. "It's to be expected. They should have warned you." What?! So I told him that I just finished painting this entire house and to please do his best in not scuffing them up. He agreed. They finished early Tuesday and as soon as they left, I got to work fixing their mess. Only this time around, it was a lot more challenging than fixing the counters. This is when I just broke into pieces. The next day we were refunded our "furniture moving" money but the damaged wall is in dispute. Ya. But let's look at the bright side, we were able to fix and repair all the damage left behind. Happy Thursday 👍 .
