Thank you to everyone who requested this video about how the sale of our house went. Something we talked about but I edited out (but have talked about in previous videos) was the passing of both of Joe's parents last year. Some may have wondered why we didn't try and get out of the realtor's 6-month contract and it was mainly because our energy wasn't in it. We also believe if we were meant to sell in 2019, we would have sold and grateful that we did the following year. We are now settled in a rental for a year (maybe less) while we look at land/house/state. After filming I realized there was so much I forgot to talk about. But then I looked at the length of this video and figured it was plenty long already. 😂 One thing I really wanted to include was a question I received on Instagram about how we were able to afford the new furnishings. Great question! As you know, we finished our debt-free journey (other than our mortgage) last year. As soon as we were done, rather than celebrate and spend, I celebrated by starting a savings. So every paycheck that normally would go to paying off our debt, instead went straight into our savings account.
